Let’s begin our week with something interesting, shall we? There’s always that one movie scene that’s unforgettable. Years after you’ve watched it, you are still able to narrate that same scene. Honestly though, what is it about these movies that gets us so hooked?! One minute we are watching, the next minute, we are on social media talking about it.

We still remember the day we released Citation, the entire media was trending with talks about the movie. What’s not to love about it? 😍

While we anticipate the release of our new production, “Swallow” which we hinted (here), we have done the honors of collating the top 5 scenes from #october1themovie that had the most buzz

The beginning of the film alone had us sitting on the edge of our seats. We know these actors were just doing their job, but that did not prevent the urge to hit the villain on the head as he raped Bisi. Come on! This scene was cruel and brutally felt 😢.

When Tawa was teaching the old Nigerian national anthem. We don’t know about you, but the lyrics were quite catchy and it was on some sort of replay in our heads. It got us comparing the old national anthem to the current national anthem. What do you think? “Nigeria, we hail Thee… or Arise O’ compatriot?”

Can we give Okafor’s scene some accolades please? I mean… the intensity had us feeling sorry for his loss and justifying his killing of Sumonu, who by the way was wrongly accused. spoiler alert 😉

Oh no, why?” are the exact words we said while watching this scene. This scene is one that will have you holding your breath in shock. Poor Omolodun we were beginning to like that guy.

Now to close this list with a grand finale! Remember that moment when Koya made a dramatic dive at Waziri? One could have sworn that Inspector Waziri would have died in this scene. He probably died a thousand times from the shock 😂... Did you notice the relief on Waziri’s face when he realized the machete missed his chest? Phew, that was a close one!

So that’s all for now guys! Let us know in the comment section below the scene(s) from October 1 that you love the most. You can get a recap by simply clicking (here) to stream October 1 on Netflix.
