The Courtesy Visit of the Director General of the National Film & Video Censors Board at the Hub.

Following the visit of the French Ambassador to Nigeria, Consul General and French delegates at the Hub, we were privileged to welcome yet another visit from the Director General of the National Film and Video Censors Board (NFVCB), Alhaji Adedayo Thomas on the 15th of October.

During the visit, the Director General had an interactive session with our CEO, Mr. Kunle Afolayan and the members of the team, where he spoke highly of our efforts in promoting the Nigerian culture through our productions and the ambiance of our workplace.

He went on to commend our goal to restore the economic growth in Nigeria, and eulogized our CEO for establishing a “one-stop shop” for creatives within the hub.

You’re probably wondering what makes KAP Hub a “one-stop shop” for creatives? Well, here’s a quick recap – In our first blog post, we introduced our new projects which offer multiple services to all creatives within the creative space; the filmmakers, actors, musicians, writers, and the likes. At the end of the Director General’s visit, he said something that melted our hearts. He said “Today didn’t just make my day, but it has really contributed to the efforts the NFVCB is making in building the creative industry, especially the film industry”
