Set for the first quarter of 2024, this legislation aims to spark innovation, offering crucial support to Lagos’s thriving creative community.

Governor Sanwoolu stressed technology’s role in empowering the creative economy, outlining plans for a digital future fostering talent and innovation.
Mr. Afolayan praised Nigerian filmmakers’ resilience on global platforms like Netflix, emphasizing that improved internet access could boost Netflix’s subscribers in Nigeria, transforming the creative landscape into a numbers game.
Furthermore, Mr Afolayan disclosed KAP Film & Television Academy’s plan to partner with government bodies.
This will ensure sustainable support for aspiring creatives and overcome financial barriers in Lagos and Nigeria.
