KAP Film & Television Academy, in partnership with the U.S. Embassy, launched an exciting new chapter for Nigerian filmmaking with a special edition of REEL CIRCLE.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This event marked the opening of an intensive Directing and Cinematography Workshop led by renowned U.S. industry professionals Angel Kristi Williams and Erin G. Wesley, aimed at empowering 20 selected beneficiaries with hands-on training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

An Inspiring Opening Speech by Will Stevens.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The event kicked off with a rousing speech from U.S. Consul General, Will Stevens, who highlighted the power of film to bridge cultures and inspire social change.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Before his address, Mr. Stevens toured the academy, exploring the vibrant KAP Hub, including its classrooms and the Afefeyeye restaurant, and expressed admiration for KAP\u2019s dedication to building Nigeria\u2019s creative future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
