ANIKULAPO’s Award-Winning Streak Continues at the 19th AMAA
Ace Nigerian producer and director, Kunle Afolayan, has struck gold once again with the ANIKULAPO movie, produced by Kap Motion Pictures in partnership with Netflix.
This historical epic has now earned two prestigious awards at the 19th edition of the Africa Movie Academy Awards (AMAA), which unfolded on Sunday, October 29, 2023, at the Balmoral Convention Centre in Victoria Island, Lagos.
The film not only secured its place in history but also celebrated victory by winning the Best Achievement in Production Design and the Award for Best Film in an African Language.
The director dedicated the production design award to the late and extremely talented Pat Nebo.
ANIKULAPO continues to be a gift that keeps on giving, captivating audiences with its compelling story and remarkable characters.
The film features talented cast like Kunle Remi, Sola Sobowale, Taiwo Hassan, Bimbo Ademoye amongst others.
And guess what? The story does not end there. The ANIKULAPO movie will be continuing in form of a sequel Series (Rise of the specter).
