Celebrating the Launch of #Citationthemovie on Netflix

Where do we begin?! The launch party for Citation at KAP Hub or the fact that Citation fast become the number 1 trending movie on the Internet and on Netflix? 😍

The 6th of November was a day worth celebrating at the Hub, as we rolled out our red carpet to welcome the ex big brother house mates: Trikytee, Elozonam, SirDee, Seyi Awolowo, alongside other fabulous guests: Frank Donga, Adunni Ade, Woli Arole, Deyemi Okanlawon, and several others to party with the cast and crew of Citation – Our lead actress; Temi Otedola, the Afrobeat legend; Seun Kuti, Bukunmi Oluwasina, Pat Nebo, the team at KAP Hub, Mr Seun Soyinka, and a host of others.

Also attending, we had amazing media houses – HipTv, ChannelsTv, ONTV, Goldmyne Tv, Trybe Tv, Correct Tv, Arise Tv and Yawnaija at the launch part for Citation. This event was sponsored by Party Chef and Johnnie Walker

There’s no better way to celebrate the release of Citation on Netflix than this. It was a night filled with banter, laughter, and a great deal of music as everyone had a good word to say about Citation.

Commenting on the release of Citation on Netflix, our CEO referred to the launch party as the official premiere for the movie because the world got to watch Citation together. I’m pretty sure you’ve watching the movie already 😉.

The party got quite emotional and exhilarating as Kunle Afolayan took to the center floor to share a few words about the cast, crew and everyone that made the production of the trending movie, Citation possible. Starting off with the lead actress, Temi Otedola, he referred to her as “a born star” (even you can agree to this), showed his gratitude for working with her on Citation, before moving on to appreciate Dr. Mrs Ibukun Awosika, Ajoke Silva, Ini Edo, his brother; Gabriel Afolayan, Bukunmi Oluwasina, Jimmy Jean-Louis, Adjetey Anang, Seun Kuti, Pat Nebo (Art director), Mr Seun Soyinka, the staff of KAP Hub, Mr Adelaja Adebayo (renowned editor), and of course our godfather; Mr Tade Ogidan, a veteran filmmaker in the industry.

With the night in full swing and the internet flooding with great reviews and memes from Citation, Mr. Afolayan shared with everyone at the party a little exclusive on our next film project, which is going to be an opportunity for different creatives to partake in (so stay tuned 😉).
