KAP Film Village & Resort Shines at the International Tourism Investment Summit in Oyo State

From July 22nd to 24th, 2025, stakeholders in Nigeria’s tourism and hospitality sector gathered in Ibadan, Oyo State for the International Tourism Investment Summit (#ITSOyoState2025).

The summit brought together government officials, investors, developers, and creatives to explore some of the state’s most promising tourism opportunities – from eco-tourism and cultural heritage preservation to leisure, hospitality, and destination development.

It was a powerful reminder of the untapped potential within Nigeria’s tourism landscape and the exciting future ahead.

The goal was clear: connect government-backed tourism projects with the right investors, developers, and partners who believe in the power of place, culture, and community.

The energy was high, the conversations meaningful, and the vision for the future of tourism in Oyo State felt real and exciting.

At the closing Governor’s Dinner and Tourism Awards Night, our very own Kunle Afolayan, founder and CEO of KAP Film Village & Resort, was honored with the Tourism Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

It was a proud and humbling moment for all of us at KAP. The recognition wasn’t just about one man’s dream, it was about a team that continues to work with passion and consistency to build something lasting.
