Nollywood Movies Released in June that are Worth Watching Again.

Who’s ready to watch some movies? 😊

The season is right and we’ve got a list of films we are sure that those of you who have seen them, have an opinion on. Today, we will be talking about movies released in June that are not only worthy of our first watch but also a rewatch😉.

First on the movie list is, My Village people. If you want to laugh your ribs out then you should see this movie. It is about a young man named Prince who unknowingly attracts the attention of witches and marine spirits, he realized too late that his selfish and ​womanizing ways had eventually caught up to him. The film was directed by Niyi Akinmolayan and starred Bovi Ugboma, Theresa Edem Isemin, Nkem Owoh, Ada Ameh, Venita Akpofure, Rachael Oniga, and Charles Inojie.

Next is, The New Patriots. This political thriller was directed by Terry Ayebo and it is about a group of unemployed youths who decided to take personal risks and make sacrifices for the masses due to the pervasive poverty in their country. This is a movie that celebrates youth contribution to society and it stars Akin Lewis, Lateef Adedimeji, Bimbo Oshin, Dele Odule, and Taiwo Ibikunle. 

Moving on, we have on the list Dwindle directed by Kayode Kasum and Dare Olaitan. This movie tells us the story of two friends who hijack a car and venture into cabbing, shortly after they began their business their lives take a drastic turn when their path runs into assassins who have just kidnapped the state governor. This screwball comedy stars Funke Akindele-Bello, Bisola Aiyeola, Jidekene Achufusi, Samuel Perry, and Uzor Arukwe.

Last on the list is the movie that has recently gotten the spotlight, Ayinla. Unlike the other movie, Ayinla is a musical Biopic and if you read our last blog then you would know more about it. It was directed by Tunde Kelani and it stars Kunle Afolayan, Lateef Adedimeji, Bimbo Manuel, Ade Laoye, and Bimbo Ademoye.
