A Recap of KAP Hub Unveiling, Swallow Premiere and The CEO’s Birthday
Guys, the gist is here!!! For everyone who has been waiting to know how Thursday 30th of September went, well here it is… But first, we must say that, it is a day in the history of KAP Hub that, will not be forgotten, in ages to come.
On this day, KAP Hub was not just unveiled but, its grounds were graced with the presence of dignitaries such as the Director-General for the Centre for Black and African Arts and Civilization (CBAAC) Olubunmi Ayobami Amao, Group Chief Executive of FCMB Mr, Ladi Balogun, the Commissioner for Culture, Arts and Tourism (Pharm)Mrs. Uzamat Akinbile-Yussuf, President for TAMPAN Mr. Latin, President for Actors Guild Mr. Emeka Rollas, Executive Director of National Film and Video Censors Board Alhaji Adedayo Thomas, Former Minister of Finance Kemi Adeosun, the Group Head W Initiative Access Bank Ayona Aguele, Former DG of National Film and Video Censors Board and Nigerian Broadcasting Emeka Mbah, movie legends, the press, family, friends, and so many astounding guests.
The event began with people on the red carpet, taking pictures, getting interviewed, and having a good time. Not long after that, the OBA of Elegushin arrived at the event, and his arrival set the ball of the event rolling as he did the honors of opening the Hub.
A tour was taken around the Hub after it was opened. With Mr. Kunle Afolayan as the tour guide, the tour began from the main building of KAP Hub to the Studio, KAP Academy down to Afefeyeye restaurant and bar, and finally KAP Cinema where the movie Swallow was premiered.
The glitz, the glamour, the fun, the laughter shared, and the celebration of a milestone achieved, all made the event a huge success and we are honored.
To rap it up we have good news for you guys! KAP Cinema and Afefeyeye Restaurant and Bar will be open to the public on the 15th of October which is this month 😊. Ire!
