Watch Now: KAP Hub End of the Year Retreat

The year is almost over and you probably still have a few things you’d like to do before 2021. For the team at KAP Hub and the executive board of directors; Mr Kunle Afolayan (CEO), Mr Seun Soyinka (Executive Director), Mr Steve Ayorinde (The former Commissioner for Information and Strategy, and later the Commissioner for Tourism, Arts and Culture), and Mr Deji Popoola (Executive Director) alongside their friends; Mr Oyedeji Olayinka and Mr Henry Alade, it’s a fun retreat to unwind, strengthen our relationship and re-strategize for the New Year.

First, we started off by exploring the taste of hot Amala, Ewedu, Gbegiri, Brokoto and assorted meat at the Surulere Amala Joint in Abeokuta 😍 before visiting the OOPL Wildlife park located in the Green Legacy Resort where we lodged. Here, we got to see diverse wild animals like the king of the jungle, or should we say “the king of the zoo”; the Lion, we also saw the Ostrich, Hyena, Crocodile and Porcupine, to name a few. After which, we wrapped up day 1 with a fun game by the pool side.

Day 2 – now that’s where the real fun began. Together at the conference hall, we started off by re-evaluating our progress and journey from being just Golden Effects Pictures to being a one-stop shop in the entertainment industry. From film production, equipment rentals, our fashion line (Ire Clothings) and consultancy services, to our soon to be operational structures: a restaurant & bar with a live band, a film academy, a 110 seater cinema, and a sound stage studio. It’s safe to say that we’ve truly raised the bar in the industry 😎, and with the new year fast approaching, be rest assured that we’ve got you covered in whatever service you may require. After our pep talk, we treated our taste buds to our favorite Amala combo, then we set out to the source of the name “Abeokuta” – the one and only Olumo Rock. Here, we were given a grand tour of the magnificent rock and told of its history. Once that was done, we bonded like never before over drinks, barbecue and lots of fun games by the pool side. Wishing this day never ended😢.
