KAP Film & Television Academy: Bringing Your Dreams To Fruition.
KAP Film & Television Academy on Monday, 23rd of May held her maiden graduation ceremony where 10 students who were shortlisted for the Netflix – USC School of Cinematic Arts in association with KAP Academy graduated from the 10 Weeks Advanced Cinema Editing Post-Production intensive workshop.
In attendance was Prof Duro Oni as the chairman of the day, Prof Ahmed Yerima, Mahmood Alli-Balogun (Chairman Audiovisual Rights Society of Nigeria), Otunba Bolaji Amusan, Kemi Adesoye (screenwriter), Adelaja Adebayo (Editor), Victor Okai (President, Director’s Guild of Nigeria), Tunde Kelani, Tade Ogidan, Tunde Adewale, Tola Odunsi, Hafiz Oyetoro, Prof Sola Fosudo, Dr. Isaac Yekini-Ajenifuja (HOD Department of Theater Arts & Music), Adeyinka Oduniyi (President – Independent Television Production Association of Nigeria), Mrs. Chioma Anokwuru (Nollywood Studies Center, PAU), Joke Silva, Tunde Adewale (TeeA), and many other dignitaries from Lagos State Ministry and Oyo State were all in attendance.
Also, Femi Odugbemi the founder and CEO of Zuri24 Media was the keynote speaker and his speech was noteworthy.
It has been established that knowledge is power and the importance of learning, unlearning and relearning cannot be over emphasized.
Whatever you find yourself doing, strive to be the best, make sure you’re getting better with each passing day because, your life is too small for you to live for yourself alone. The world around you will be made better by your works and posterity will blessed for it.
