Tribute To A Fighter – Ada Ameh

All the world’s a stage, and all the men and women merely players; They have their exits and their entrances…

Ada Ameh has played her part and has taken her exit. Though, untimely, leaving her loved ones in utter shock, disbelief, and grief.

Ada’s joy got a hit when she lost her only child to the cold hands of death, a tragic loss that was difficult for her to shake off but she did put up a fight and in June 2022, she said the grief was killing her as she called for help. It is devastating to say she put up a really good fight but sadly, has hung the gloves.

We can’t say she lost the fight because this would mean she didn’t fight well, it’ll mean she was a weakling but we can say she has gone home to rest. After the market banter during the day comes the journey back home to rest. Ada Ameh has gone home to rest and while we mourn our loss, we will also celebrate her life.

Having been an actor for over two decades, Ada Ameh subtly warmed her way to people’s hearts through the family series; The Johnsons, where she proficiently played the character of Mrs. Emu Johnson from 2012 – 2022.

She became a friend of the house in 2012 when she played the role of Cynthia in Phone Swap.

All of us at Kunle Afolayan Production Hub send our condolences to her family, may they especially, find the fortitude to bear this loss.

Sun re o Ada Ameh
