Canadian Deputy High Commissioner – His Excellency, Teshome Nkrumah, and Trade Commissioner; Creative Industry, Temitayo Dada on Wednesday 13th July 2022, visited KAP Hub.
The friendly visit saw them take a tour around the facility but first, upon arrival they had a little chat with Director – Kunle Afolayan. His Excellency, Teshome Nkrumah talked about how impressed he is about the quality of work being done by Kunle Afolayan; telling the African story to Africans and the world at large beautifully and excellently.
He talked about how the valued work being done is a commendable way of giving back to society.
The facility tour saw them take a tour from the Editing Bay to the Sound Studio, Conference room, Ire Clothing, Keke Bar, Stage Sound Studio, Classrooms, Ehinkule Bar, Afefeyeye Restaurant and Bar, and finally, KAP Cinemas where they saw clips of the ongoing work at KAP Film Village and Resorts and a preview of Anikulapo; a work in progress.
After a few more appraisals, His Excellency met with members of KAP – Hub staff and on a final note, appraised the work they’ve done and are doing and encouraged them to not relent because their efforts might look small individually but their part must be played as it is a defining part of the larger picture.
After these, pictures were taken with the staff and, His Excellency Teshome Nkrumah bade us farewell.
