There’s so much that goes behind the scenes of movies! And October 1 is no exception. This dark psychological thriller film became a huge hit back in 2014 with 16 awards, including the award for the best movie of the year.
To make this periodic film revolutionary, a lot of great work was put into its production which was met with positive critical reception, mostly praised for its production design, cinematography, and its exploration of themes like tribalism, western imperialism, pedophilia, Nigeria’s unification, and its ability to establish a strong connection with the western culture.
