We recently shared our first official project reveal and the feedback was priceless! To everyone who gave their warm wishes, we are grateful. If you want a recap of this reveal, you can get that (HERE).
Moving on, last week’s narrative was epic, but before we get into it, here are the highlights:
- KAP Film & Television Academy will soon commence virtually.
- The Film Masterclass with Kunle Afolyan is now available for acquisition on streaming platforms.
- The final episode of The Film Masterclass with Kunle Afolayan will premier on the 26th of June, 2020 and the second season will be based on the perspective of Phone Swap.
- Our goal is to build a robust capacity while embracing innovative ways to service clients and build new partnership.
Now that’s out of the way, let’s breeze through it…
First, KAP Film & Television Academy will soon commence! We bet you’re excited about this. However, due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, we will kick off with a virtual certificate program where students will be mentored by industry experts like Pat Nebo, Tunde Kelani, and Kunle Afolayan, to name a few. Once a date is fixed for enrollment, you’d be the first to know 😉.
Second, we recently uploaded two new masterclasses which focused on sound and editing in film from the perspective of Figurine. To make this even more intriguing, there are 9 episodes on YouTube, Channel KAPTV each addressing different topics in film making, but that’s not all, once you subscribe to KAPTV on YouTube, you’d definitely be the first to get these exclusive contents and more. You can click (HERE) to do that 😊.
Moreover, we will be releasing a new masterclass based on the perspective of Phone Swap. So there’s enough knowledge to share. For those wondering what the movie is about, you can watch the trailer (HERE), or see the movie on Netflix. Whereas, if you missed the recent masterclasses or want to educate your friends, the links below will do justice.
Wouldn’t it be great to share the knowledge of quality film production with the world? We are aware about the importance of education, that’s why we made the masterclass videos available for acquisition on various streaming platforms (terms and conditions applies).
Third, we have been asked repeatedly about the full meaning of “KAP Hub.” This we also decided to address here. KAP Hub means Kunle Afolayan Productions Hub and Golden Effects Pictures is the parent company. KAP Hub on the other hand is the housing for 4 subsidiaries – KAP Film & Television Academy, KAP Television, KAP Cinemas and KAP Motion pictures. So, there you have it, KAP Hub explained concisely 😊.
Fourth, some days ago, we had a few job openings and the turnout were outstanding. A quota of our latest project involved reducing the level of unemployment in Nigeria which we’ve executed, and intend to resume subsequently.
As we all know, every company has a maximum capacity, so for the meantime, with a few new staff onboard, we really want to appreciate everyone that applied and we wish you the best in your future endeavors.
Finally, last week rolling into this week and weeks to come, we’re embracing innovative ways to service clients and build new partnership. So for the meantime, stay tune for the amazing craft that’s cooking at our end.
…and that’s our highlight for the week!
